Your field of responsibility
This is an exciting role within FSG Technology’s Department Architect team. FSG Tech is one of the largest IT department in CS supporting Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Sustainability, Research & Investment Solutions (SRI) and General Counsel (GC) functions. We are looking for a curious and passionate DevOps Engineer to join our DevSecOps Squad (DevOps including Security) who loves to learn about new tools and technologies. Be the part of small core team responsible for creating strategy and driving DevOps/Security/Cloud adoption for the whole department.

• An opportunity to work with talented engineers across all applications stacks (e.g. Java, Hadoop, .NET, python) built on internal and public Cloud. You will personally influence design decision and help build best in class CI/CD pipelines using the latest opensource, homegrown and vendor tools in the industry. This is a hands-on technical role, responsible to build, manage and automate the CI/CD pipeline and other components including monitoring, test automation tools and security.

• You will be working with OpenShift / Kubernetes / Docker based environments to support our cutting-edge platform, continuous testing, monitoring and data gathering for our DevOps metrics.

• Chipping in to our continuous improvement and continuous delivery while increasing maturity of DevSecOps (DevOps including Security) and agile adoption. Work optimally in collaboration with other team members and other teams across the bank.

Your skills and experience
We are looking for an applicant with Computer Science/Engineering degree or equivalent experience of at least 5 years in automation or software development primarily in DevOps and cloud computing. Proven knowledge of modern Agile/DevOps tools and practices such as Release Engineering – version control using Git (branching, pull requests, tagging), Artifactory, Nexus, Sonar and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins pipeline preferred)

• Hands-on experience in developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, terraform, salt, Kubernetes
• Proficient with at least one programming/scripting language (e.g. bash/shell, Python, Go and Java preferred)
• Experience with build tools/systems (Maven preferred) and/or testing automation

Nice to have:

• Experience working with agile team and using of management/ tracking tools e.g JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Hands-on experience in implementing containerized solution using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift etc.
• Can demonstrate good knowledge or prior experience in networking, container orchestration and security
