This role is within Client Lifecycle Management process for an MI specialist with technical skills to automate reports and build new reports using the latest tools and technologies. This role will pre-dominantly involve Business Data Analysis work to drive the automation roadmap (55%) & Building powerful reports aspects (45%). Business Data Analysis: (55%) • Discuss the requirements directly with the function/team leads to build new reports/views • Design and implement new reports based on management and team requirements • Actively participate in generating and executing new ideas for process improvement • Work on ad-hoc requirements to cater to senior management or regulatory requirements • Providing Business Analysis, UAT execution and deployment of change to production environment • Take ownership of relevant procedural documentation and ensure procedures are updated on a timely basis • Play a key role to act as the link between multiple business partners such as (IT, Front Office teams etc) and Customized reporting to progress the automation roadmap for Customized reporting • Plan and lead weekly discussions with IT teams on a regular basis to track progress, prioritize, identify risks, dependencies and resolve issues by facilitating discussions amongst the right business partners • Build relevant project documentation/artifacts in accordance to the bank’s procedure eg: Business Requirements documents, data lineage and etc). Put together weekly management updates & produce relevant MI for tracking and monitoring progress on automation • Deliver continuous operational improvements, in view of the changing operating and regulatory environment • Any other tasks assigned by the management • Seek to stay relevant with the latest regulatory, policy and procedural requirements. Automation : (45%). • Automate and build new reports that will cater to all functions/teams including senior management • Build analytical reports that provide insight into the process in addition to the daily, weekly and monthly reports • Automation for process trackers that are manually managed by the team • Creation of dashboards on visualization tool like Power BI, Qlik and Tableau that provide risk view to the senior management for oversight • Perform controls and supervisions to BAU processes to validate the completeness, accuracy and timeliness dissemination of statements • Experience with industry standard tools such as Temenos (T24) and processing of clients documents • Extensive experience in Power BI development and administration along with the knowledge on advanced Excel features • Working on Investment Banking / Private banking environment to quickly grasp and understand terms of KPI / SLA and other reporting criteria. • Import and Aggregate data from different sources and store it in a structured way • Use simple/ advance level calculations on the data set and Slicing /Dicing techniques to arrive at meaningful data for reporting • Leverage / create macros, pivots or any other tool to optimize data and analytics related work • Experience in Data visualization. Be familiar with various graphs and table creation tools • Team would generate and circulate Daily, Weekly, Monthly MIS Reports. Analyze trends to ensure if data generated is correct. Connect with relevant partners to ensure completeness and accuracy of data. • Should be a team-player and fill up knowledge gaps within. Hand hold members and preempt challenges to be faced in development cycle and provide solutions • Interact with various teams to understand their process. Wireframe reports based on requirement and have it signed off. You are expected to possess the below: * Minimum 10-12 years of relevant client account maintenance & experience within Banking (Private Banking experience is preferred) with focus on developing MI and Management reports. Overall 12-16 years of an experience in Finance, Banking and Consulting * Have a strong hands-on experience on data visualization tools like Power BI, Qlik, Tableau * Have hands on proven experience on working with large and diverse data sets * Data Mining and Data Analytics experience * Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines * You possess good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. * You are ambitious, hardworking who can work on own initiative whilst also working collaboratively and deliver on time with a high level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards * Experience in Change Management, Business Data Analysis * Front to back project implementation experience, including writing business specification, data mapping, UAT execution and etc. * Understanding of project management (AGILE methodologies applicable from a business perspective) and business transformation process * Outstanding computer literacy (especially Advanced Excel, programming experience ideally combined with knowledge on VBA and SQL would also be beneficial) * Knowledge and experience with PB client statements, Wealth-Manager and T24 would be an added advantage * Dedicated and self-starter, with a positive can-do attitude * Outstanding analytical ability, and a problem solver with the ability to think out of the box * Team-player, you are committed to service delivery excellence and always having the bank and clients’ best interests in mind * Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with key internal clients including business, operations and colleagues in Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, etc. * Being able to pick up and understand the account maintenance process quickly to function effectively in the role * Demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and orderliness in performing work assignments * Ability to multi-task and prioritize, can thrive under-pressure in managing urgent requests * Proficient in using MS Office software, particularly Excel and Word * Degree in Business or Finance or equivalent experience * Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
