Job Description

Job responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate and purchase civil, electrical and mechanical tools, equipments & technology for creating state of the art light & sound shows, exquisite state museums and theme parks.
• Prepare techno-commercial comparison of received offers and negotiate with vendors (national and global) in terms of earliest delivery, discount structure, payment terms & conditions.
• Maintain consistent coordination with Project Manager & Onsite engineers for stock availability, quality and monthly equirement.
• Ensure timely and continuous supply of required raw material to avert any delay in onsite project execution.
• Control the procurement budget and promote a culture of long-term saving without compromising on quality.
• Prepare MIS report for material purchased, their price trend, consumption, inventory and share the same with Project Manager to keep them updated on procurement needs.
• Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile:

• B.E. (Electrical/ Electronics), Mechanical Engineering with a recognised university/ college.
• 5+ years of experience as procurement professional with an events/ exhibits company and should have detailed idea of the industry functionality.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Open to travel as per project requirement and visiting the local vendor as and when required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and power point).
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills.
• Resourceful, self-driven, proactive.
