Customized Energy Solutions Hiring for Retail Data and EDI Analyst at Pune, India Full Time

We are looking for an Analyst with experience in X12/EDI transaction management, validating data, business logic, and strong SQL skills to join its Retail Services team. In this role the successful candidate will support the Company’s Retail Energy practice by providing support to the retail operations group in EDI services, quality audits, controls and exception management. This position will suit a candidate comfortable working under deadlines and with competing priorities. Scope of work will include client EDI portfolio management, monitoring and validating transactions, and EDI changes due to market development and changes. The successful candidate will be a high energy self-starter, a positive team player, possess strong analytical skills, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Being detail oriented and a person of integrity are essential qualities, as is an ability to handle new tasks and manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Representative Duties: * Triage issues stemming from EDI transaction anomalies * Backend validation for data completeness/correctness and performance * Perform quality audits on a regular cadence * Perform exception management activities * Gather requirements from multiple markets for EDI changes and update * Assist with QA for EDI SLA’s and accountability to clients in partnership with technical leads and operations * Support internal process automation efforts across Retail Market Services functions through discovery, documentation, and representation of business requirements and functional specifications within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) * Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements to improve the procedure * Use professional experience to assist with completion of ad hoc projects as needed * Bachelor’s degree in applicable subject matter demonstrating required quantitative and professional skill sets * Five or more three years’ (5+) relevant EDI/X12 experience in utility or electricity markets * Relevant graduate degree or advanced industry experience a plus * Excellent analytic processing skills and experience with Excel and SQL preferred * Ability to analyze information, solve problems and make quick, fact-based decisions * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work well in a deadline-driven, self-managed environment * Demonstrated ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization * Demonstrated ability to think “outside the box” by developing and implementing improvements to processes and tools Customized Energy Solutions offers competitive salary commensurate with experience.
