Job Description

Required skills: Competent on Electrical harness modeling in CATIA V5 – Electrical harness Routing (EHI) and Electrical Fitting installation

• Independently handle Electrical harness modeling related to subsystem and car level.

• Able to interpret electrical schema and good understanding and able to apply while routing the harness:

• Wire Bundle calculation

• Selection of protection, connectors, conduit, etc…

• Harness routing respecting all the defines rules: Branching, bend radius, colors requirement

• Understands Engineering BOM, and correlate the various assembly indicators as per operation sequence of components.

• Good understanding & working experience on Sheetmetal module and sheet metal manufacturing process

• Experienced in applying GD&T and perform Tol. Stack up

. Thorough knowledge on Sheet metal component design, material and thickness selection

. Good Knowledge of materials & mechanical characteristics

.Able to define fasteners and joint design

• Hands-on experience with PLM/PDM tools.

• Organizes and leads his work package reviews for the project he/she is in charge,

• Manages Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plan,

• Communicates with internal customers on the technical requirements, be able to discuss, participate and negotiate in finalizing technical requirements and acceptance methodologies (spoken, tele-con, written communication skills necessary to work effectively with overseas process partners & offsite teams)

• Able to articulate thought process well in individual meetings as well as larger team meetings, and in dealings with internal and external customer teams

Total years of experience: 6 to 10yrs.
