Job Description

• 2-4yrs of experience on Fabrication and Welding processes

• Support Fabrication and welding process planning SOE/OMS creation based on logical sequencing.

• Create Line layouts, ergonomics and will be responsible for CI activities

• To read industrial drawings and understand the various dimensions / features involved to fabricate the products & assemblies

• Create new or optimal sequence of part manufacturing based on inputs received

• Continuously review the existing process plans and drive process improvements

• Sheet Metal Cutting Process Knowledge & Experience, Laser Nesting & Programming experience, Press Brake Bending Programming and experience.

• Workflow processing – Manufacturing sequence of events, work center selection, drawing review, tolerance review, and update notes in spreadsheet.

• Laser Nesting – Daily ongoing nesting support, Phantom clearance, Hot nest support on urgent basis.

• Assist in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.

• Coordination with Engineering, Operations, procurement & quality teams supporting daily production & part of cost saving initiatives.

• Shopfloor experience in fabrication & welding industry

• Sound knowledge of various Arc welding processes & welding symbols

• Basic knowledge of Industrial Engineering

• Must read industrial drawing and experience on Creo or any CAD software.

• Knowledge of SAP, Lantek, Radan software package will be an added advantage

• Understand GD&T requirements per engineering requirements & Support during fabrication of Products & Assemblies.

• Excellent knowledge on all manufacturing & Sheet metal Fabrication processes.

• Hands on experience in Laser and Bend Programming.

• Must have working Knowledge on Fixtures & Work holding devices.

• A good team player, who can work well under pressure or in stressful and demanding situations or environments.
