Job Description

Qualification:

• Graduate in Mechanical/Production/Industrial/CADCAM Engineering.

Desired Skills:

• Exposure to Assembly domain.

• Working knowledge on Lean Methodologies, Quality Standards like ISO & CMMi.

• Generation of Technical and Management reports.

• Have all round awareness of various engineering functions.

• Good written and communication skill in English to communicate to suppliers, management and customers.

Essential Skills:

• Hands on experience in Industrial/ Production/Manufacturing/Methods Areas.

• CAD/Engineering tools like ProE (Creo), Vis mockup, Factory CAD, AutoCAD, Vis Mockup, W Planner, VisJack, Seemage, Classic Jack, Clearance DB.

• Proficient in GD & T.

This individual assigned to this role will be responsible for the execution of the following tasks:

• Create assembly floor work instructions (WI) including graphics and text to instruct mechanics how to assemble/install, test and pack completed units.

• Validate engineering definition from drawings, BOMs and specifications prior to releasing WI to production.

• Incorporate change orders in WI and create new plans.

• Incorporate needed corrections into (WI) plans.

• Should possess knowledge on assembly Balancing & Grinding.

• Support process planning in assembly builds. This includes monitoring build activity, editing work orders and maintaining records for final and sub assembly builds, test and pack. Work orders may require investigating and confirming engineering definition.

• CATIA V5 part modelling and drafting.

• Experience in VBA programming and 3D Via/CATIA Composer is an added advantage.

• Provide continuous improvement utilizing Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) tools and lean techniques. Identify opportunities for process improvements and update standard work regularly.

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and develop solutions.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned.

• Should be flexible to come in first or second shift as needed.
