What You Need To Do

• Work closely with various departments across the newsroom to brainstorm ideas and build enhanced storytelling Interactives.
• Identifying the right experience to tell stories through visuals and interaction.
• Create engaging, content-driven designs or concepts that are compelling for various kinds of stories.
• Ability to quickly iterate and create interactive prototypes.
• Meet deadlines and adapt to changes in a daily, unpredictable newsroom environment.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and consider all feedback critically..
• Understand the impact of their work and keep them in mind along with business goals to make creative decisions.

Who You Need To Be

• A Passionate Product Designer with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in digital space creating great experiences.
• Strong understanding of data to be able to simplify it for the mass audience.
• Have past experience handling web interactive projects. Able to manage multiple short- and long-term projects efficiently.
• Have a really good eye for details around colors, typography and layout.
• Skilled with design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma) and prototyping softwares.
• Possess a basic understanding of HTML to effectively collaborate with developers.
• Open to exploring new Generative AI tools for Graphics Production and Creativity.
• Experience with creating GIF, video, sound, illustration & game mechanics is a big plus.
• Be Autonomous and take full ownership of your work.
• Obsessive about accurate, timely delivery and being the first to break the latest news.
• Good understanding of digital news and different genres: Sports, Politics, Movies, News etc.
• Serious about current affairs and information design
