The Software Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for verifying the software programs for laboratory medical devices and new product. We are seeking Software Engineers with hands-on verification skill on medical devices.

This position is part of Hematology in IDC, Bengaluru, and will be onsite. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be an active and integral member of the R&D Software team and report to the Engineering manager of Software Engineering responsible for the design of certain software components and the verification of new products, applications, and features based on industry and technological trends and advances. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Collect and create test data for functional and non-functional testing.

• Run functional and non-functional tests

• Write requirements and create scenarios for performance testing

• Provide estimates for test activities

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

• Collaborate heavily with fellow test engineers, developers, designers and analysts to solve problems.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of proven experience

• Expert in writing and executing Test case

• Great Exposure to Tool like TFS, Azure DevOps, and MTM

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in medical device testing is a plus.

• Experience in Agile development processes and philosophies.

• Ability to work well with people and be both highly motivated and motivating.
