As a constantly growing company, Danfoss is looking for motivated employees who want to work with us on our success. We are seeking a Engineer Test Metrology to join our diverse team. The employee will be part of the Danfoss Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and will report to Head of Hydraulics test lab. This position will be responsible for selection of right equipment for Metrology, carryout inspection & support design reviews. Mentoring fellow laboratory technicians in upgrading their skills for precise measurements of complex parts.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Design and administer a comprehensive metrology program, including establishing laboratory standards, calibration procedures, training/coaching Lab Technicians.
• Provide measurement system analysis on parts. Verify conformance of parts to specifications & blueprints with respect to measurements
• Support design engineering on new development of projects
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on ensuring processes and techniques are aligned with future business needs
• Monitoring & servicing systems, diagnosing problems and troubleshooting equipment.
• Ensure proper maintenance and timely calibration of equipment.
• Requires basic mechanical aptitude including ability to read and interpret dimensions, tolerances and assembly notes & able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Ability to work independently and creatively, while collaborating closely with a diverse team of technical experts
• Understanding of basic problem-solving skills, including statistical analysis, and ability to use these tools to drive root cause identification and problem solving
• Knowledge of mechanical inspection methods and tools used to determine product acceptance.

• BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in quality assurance/Quality control
