What will your role be: IT Monitoring Apps Administrator’s mission is to manage and maintain the Infrastructure of of BMC TrueSight and Monitoring Applications like Zabbix and Solarwinds, spread across 3DS worldwide sites. He will also be responsible to support device on-boarding to Monitoring Solutions, using various automation techniques. The right candidate should have the following experience: Experience in Administration of BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management suite (TSIM), BMC TrueSight Operations Manager and RemedySSO Administration Event Cell configuration and Management for various event sources like Zabbix, Solarwinds Event Management policies/MRLs Integration with BMC Remedy ITSM and CMDB Integration with 3rd Party tools like Zabbix, Solarwinds, Dynatrace Well versed with Databases – Oracle/PostgreSQL/MSSQL TrueSight Infrastructure components Installation/Upgrade/Integration and management Understanding and analysis of user requirements for Server Monitoring Agent installation and configuration and successful on-boarding of devices for monitoring Documentation related to Standard Operation Procedures and Monitoring Processes Administration, Fine-tuning and Maintenance of Infrastructure related to BMC TrueSight Tools Maintaining and implementing custom improvements on BMC Platform. Writing automation scripts

The Challenges ahead: Be self-motivated and eager to engage in high impact, challenging problems while continuously raising the standard of quality in our tools and services
Able to troubleshoot and debug monitoring issue and scenarios on tools like Zabbix, Solarwinds, TrueSight, Dynatrace.
Should be able to wirte modules with Shell/Powershell/Python.
Should be proficient in Ansible/SALT for automation.
Should be capable of managing linux/windows based server Infra.
Qualifications – External
Right candidate should be experienced in Linux and Windows OS Candidate with sound IT knowledge Should be a quick learner Scripting experience with Shell/Powershell. Understanding of Master Rule Language Basic Coding Background in any Scripting Language like JavaScript/Python Strong debugging skills to find out the root cause of problems. Previous experience in Zabbix monitoring and implementation will be an added advantage. Ability to understand, install and test open source tools. Knowledge of latest Monitoring techniques and automation tools like Ansible etc. Good Analytical skills Understand and analyze requirements of various teams within IT department
