Full Job Description
Our Databricks Business Systems Team is seeking a Salesforce Developer to own and drive our Salesforce platform and be a strategic partner in leveraging this core system effectively across the business. The position will own the process for design, test, build and implementation. Additionally this role will have the opportunity to help guide the business in process development and enhancement and work on future implementation needs. We want someone passionate about leveraging Salesforce to drive success and value across the business. In this role you will be the lead resource on a team where you will use your skills and expertise to enhance and evolve the value of our Salesforce instance across the business. You will partner with other teams to bring sustainable maturity to our use of the Salesforce platform. With the support of your team, you will be in the position to guide the business to be more efficient and effective with Salesforce and products that connect to and rely on Salesforce.

The right person for this role will have analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven background in Salesforce development, configuration, and governance. standardization. They will help translate GTM and CS business needs to system configuration.
Impact you will have:Design/Strategy: Build and enhance core platform functionality on the Salesforce platform including the way Salesforce interacts with and is leveraged by other key business systems.
Collaboration: You are the lead for helping our business effectively leverage and use Salesforce. You will be working with other teams and will have a seat on the IT Portfolio Working Group.
Analytics: The role plays an analytical role in quickly and thoroughly analyzing business requirements for reporting and analysis and subsequently translating the emanating results into good technical data designs. In this capacity, the System Analyst configure, develops, and maintains technical specification documentation for all processes.
What we look for:
Minimum 2 years of extensive experience with Salesforce in a high growth environment. Experience in Salesforce administration and other applications like financial force, learning management systems etc
Knowledge of security and governance (profiles, permission sets, data visibility, sharing settings etc)
Thorough understanding of the Life Cycle of Development including Salesforce Deployment/Packaging effectively using Metadata API, ChangeSet and code coverage
Experience with implementing Salesforce Portal (Community portal), Service Console, Lightning components are required
Hands-on experience in Salesforce development and implementation skills with good command on Triggers, Configuration, SOQL, REST APIs etc
Experience with application development like ReactJS, JQuery etc is plus
