We are seeking a Last Mile Acquisition Manager to ensure the capacity buildup of last-mile delivery in the assigned region. The manager will be responsible for acquisition and management of last mile partners through state teams. Additionally, the manager will ensure overall cost optimization of last mile riders/LMA network and effective stakeholder management for the assigned region.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Ensure the assigned SPOC identifies and acquires local vendors/retailers near the dispatch center of Delhivery at variable rates and keeps track of it
● Ensure the SPOC endures with vendors once acquired/willing to work for Delhivery as well as retain existing vendors
● Synchronize with core operations on the ground team of Delhivery and last mile leadership team and other stakeholders to manage smooth last mile operations LMA operations
● Ensure the SPOC keeps basic hygiene updates of vendors with regards to App, Partner Management tool compliance
● Ensure the data sanity of respective states assigned with rider agents count and capacity promised for dispatch is maintained and is readily available
● Ensure the cost of delivery is low/optimized at the regional level by guiding the SPOC for our matching negotiation to vendors and applying dynamic costs for last mile delivery
● Contribute to maintaining and building capacity across all teams within Delhivery
● Have strong data knowledge and be good with numbers
● Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in the market, devising and presenting ideas and strategies
● Identify opportunities to collaborate with government, non-government agencies/organizations, and private entities that further the goal of building a stable last mile rider network in the region
● Comfortable in leveraging technology to improve the effectiveness of the recruiters under his span
● Conduct field visits to ensure effective acquisition and management of last mile partners
Qualifications and Skills:
● Hard skills: operational/logistics understanding, acquisition skills, data acuity
● Soft skills: problem-solving, analytical/creative thinking, email writing, work ethics, time management, decision making, team management, willingness to learn, positive attitude, leadership skills, good communication skills
● Ground operations experience
● Market understanding and information
