What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Business Intelligence Advisor, you will evaluate business data to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends that improve business performance. You will encourage best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization, and as a trusted advisor to the business you will also support end users to determine information requirements.
You will:

• Coach and mentor new team members on the business processes and technologies
• Determine future reporting requirements and strategic needs aligned to the organization/corporate strategy
• Build and implement a mid-level reporting strategy and develop sophisticated solutions for difficult problems
• Work with governing bodies to ensure metrics’ definitions are consistent globally
• Deliver results that change business behavior and improve their capability

Manages projects, or specific activities related to projects within given constraints of scope, schedule, budget, and quality through the duration of the project Allocates work among team members and provides guidance on a regular basis Conducts periodic reviews to ensure project is on track and conducts post-project reviews Ensures all project documentation is kept up to date and communicated to the relevant stakeholders on a timely basis Utilizes relevant project management tools, systems, and applications Defines supporting and/or driving process improvements.

You should be passionate about managing Advanced Analytics projects related catering to requirements from Dell Support and Deployment Services. As part of the team you will be responsible for Program Management, Team leadership, road map planning, road map prioritizing, scope, schedule, budget, interacting with development teams globally, work closely with our business partners to understand requirements, and high quality deliverables in a timely manner.

o Be a Program Manager for all BI, Analytics and Application development needs of Dell PAG GBS Group – SDS Innovation Space
o As a Program Manager evolve the road map for BI, Analytics and Application development needs of Dell PAG GBS Group – SDS Innovation Space
o Lead a team of committed individuals in both the GBS – SDS Innovation organizations
o Evolve road map and program manage all critical projects
o Long-term strategic responsibility for the company’s IT systems, including reducing total cost of ownership, modernizing the architecture, and innovation to support the business.
o Partner with development teams across the functional areas to prioritize capabilities, drive architectural standards and governance, and support key strategic initiatives.
o Be the program manager to identify issues / risks and required mitigation to ensure delivery of end-to-end strategic design
o Connect with the scrum teams across the org to clarify business and technical capability needs and investigate dependencies
o Review technical artifacts to meet industry standards
o Own and drive technical and functional improvements across platform/applications
o Management of the risks associated with information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.
o Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology leaders, architects and developers
Essential Requirements
o Experience in partner management, operations management
o 9 to 15 years strong technical experience in participating in highly-complex projects independently that cross multiple business units, divisions, functions, and regions
o Essential Certifications: DevOps, Agile Scrum, Pivotal, Project Management Professional (PMP)
o Ability to communicate to all levels within an organization
o Strong customer focus
o Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
o Ability to take ownership and work issues to completion
o Self-starter & able to work as a team member
o Related work experience is an advantage but training will be provided
o Fluent in English – written and conversational skills
o Ability to communicate design rationale clearly and concisely and build consensus / relationships in a matrix environment
o Ability to think about business in a way that is abstracted from how business functions are implemented by technology Desirable Requirements

o Technical Skills
o Strong understanding of life cycle implementation of Data Integration(Streamsets / Informatica / MS SSIS), Business Intelligence(Tableau / Power BI), MS SQL DB, Teradata and Data Sciences (AI/ML – Python /R) efforts
o Experience in managing projects around cloud architecture (preferably Pivotal Cloud Foundry)
o Experience with any of Data Warehousing, Data Integration (Streamsets), BI (PowerBI / Tableau), Analytics (Python / R), Teradata, Greenplum, MemSQL and Hadoop would be a big plus
o Experience in Database design principles, query tuning in SQL Server 2012/ 2014/ 2016
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
