As a Software Principal Engineer (Automation), you will help transform the way customers manage their data centers. You will become part of a global engineering team delivering CloudIQ, a cloud-native solution that provides proactive health, monitoring and predictive analytics. CloudIQ is software-as-a-service application built on a modern platform with state of the art open-source technologies and a continuous delivery model. As part of the team, you will design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications, and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners. • Work with a global cross-functional engineering team on building test frameworks and test automation suites to qualify core CloudIQ capabilities
• Take part of test-driven development including design, implementation, deployment & support of test automation for microservices and UI
• Evaluate new technologies and approaches to streamline tooling, development

• Experience in using languages like Java, with spring Framework for Java, or Python with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience in design and development of test frameworks and suites using Java/Python.
• Experience in developing automation for Java/Python microservices.
• Strong knowledge on automating workflows for Distributed systems, involving several microservices, SQL/NoSQL DBs, Messaging Systems, and presentation layer.
• Good exposure to automation tools and frameworks viz., Selenium, Tosca
• Experience with cloud platforms or platform as a service such as Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry, PCF, PKS
• Experience working with one or more of the following: Postgres, Cassandra, Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with scripting Python/bash
• Knowledge and experience with Agile
