Principal Software Engineer – Oracle Data Architect (I8) Join us as a Principal Software Engineer – Oracle Data Architect on our Software – IT team in India to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact. What you’ll achieve As a Principal Software Engineer – Oracle Data Architect, you will be responsible for providing software solutions using latest Database technologies and help in implementation using appropriate Software Development tools. You will work with multiple software development teams and Dell Global Supply Chain business teams. You will:

• Design, code, test, debug and documents software according to Dell’s systems standards, policies and, procedures, security and compliance requirements.
• Analyse business needs and create, define software solutions including custom developed and off the shelf software.
• be able to work in global development environment
• Self-starter, proactive, good team player, should possess exceptional commitment towards success of the team, and should have excellent crisis management skills.
• Work with the engineering manager, product owners, architects, developers and SDETs to endure that the product is being delivered with quality on time and within budget

• BE/B.Tech/MCA with 10+ years of experience in software application development using Oracle DB/Mongo DB.
• Proven work experience as a Data Architect or similar role
• In-depth design and development experience of relational database (Oracle, MemSQL) and No-SQL (Mongo DB) structure principles.
• Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.
• Very Strong Oracle PLSQL programming experience (e.g. Procedures, packages, functions, exceptions etc.)
• Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions.
• Expert in troubleshooting, optimizing, and performance tuning PL/SQL queries/procedures.

Desirable Requirements

• Fair knowledge of Data structures, Algorithms, APIs, and Designing for performance, scalability, and availability.

• Experience in data processing tools like Spark and Scala is an added advantage.
