What you’ll achieve
As a Principal Service Solutions Architecture Engineer, you will provide world-class delivery support to our customers by building an in-depth knowledge of our customers’ priorities and initiatives and becoming a trusted advisor that avoids customer impact and facilitates continuous improvement. You will plan for the integration or replacement of Dell Network solutions and services in a customer’s environment.

You will:

• Be responsible for accurate documentation and overall customer satisfaction
• Provide technical knowledge and solution planning for the remote services organization and engagement in a hybrid of complex or sensitive customer situations
• Document and plan heterogeneous SANs/NAS/Networks, and Core/Edge Networks.
• Keep solution deliverables on target by providing exceptional customer service/support skills for multiple customer engagements in multiple geographic areas.
• Identify, define and establish organizational common practices.

Essential Requirements

• Strong organizing and planning skills to oversee and efficiently implement program deliverables
• Experience with: SFP, SFP+ and QSFP+ Optics Operations; Single Mode and Multiple-mode Fiber Optics; ARP Protocol; Network looping and broadcast storms resolution steps; IGMP protocol; VLAN Stacking; Ethernet and IP Jumbo Frames; Stacking Configs vs. LAG configs vs. VLT/VPC/MLAG configs experience; Routing protocols: RIP, OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM, PIM-DM; Multi-Protocol Labeling switching with L2 and L3 VPNs; FCoE Networking; Wireless Networking: Voice over IP Protocols.
• Certifications: Dell Technologies Proven Professional, Dell Networking Certified Associate or Specialist, CCNP, CCIE, JNCP, ACE-A, VCTA, VCP, VCAP
• Ability to Design and optimize customer Green Field and Brown field environments
• Ability to Mentor team members
• Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills with strong priority setting and delegation skills.
• Experience on Dell Networking Products
• Third party networking products like Cisco is a added advantage

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field of study
• 8-12 years of experience in the area of Network Design, Implementation, /support and services environment, or related occupation.
