Job Title: Software Engineer 2
Work Location: Bangalore The team Client Product Group is responsible for building and delivering manageability software for Enterprise Client line of business (eg. Laptops, Workstations, Desktops etc.). Working at the cutting edge, we design and develop software for platforms, peripherals, applications and diagnostics — all with the most advanced technologies, tools, software engineering methodologies and the collaboration of internal and external partners. What you’ll achieve
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development activities associated with software using a range of applicable technologies (e.g., programming languages, compilers, assemblers, debuggers, other tools) for products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. You will:

• Participate in the software development lifecycle, which includes research, new development, modification, security, correction of errors, reuse, re-engineering and maintenance of software products
• Prepare written specifications for tasks of varied complexity from verbal requirements.
• Create technical documentation of software products/solutions.
• Assist with the development and review of end user and technical end user documentation.
• Make changes to system software to correct errors in the original implementation and creates extensions to existing programs to add new features or performance improvements.

Essential Requirements

• 2 to 5 years experience in leading software design and development effort.
• Good knowledge of programming languages Net, C# or Java; operating systems; firmware; BIOS; device drivers; databases; system, network and application administration; embedded software/firmware.
• Ability to code/debug moderately sophisticated programs using design specifications.
• Knowledge of software architectures and applications and agile methodologies.
• Availability to work in a night shift.

Desirable Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of server, storage, networking and client technologies.
