Job Description

Solution Architect This position defines the overall Dell solution for the customer and works closely with customers and partners on all aspects of customer solution which may include Dell products and services in the areas of Compute, Storage, SDDC, Automation, Data Protection and Network. Assists the sales staff in terms of mapping customer business requirement with Dell offerings. Prepare detailed product and functional specifications for the purpose of selling Datacenter Component and Solutions. Assist customer needs analysis by doing assessments. Coordinate with internal specialists & team members from different BUs but be the single face for Dell for customers. Possess a high degree of technical competency in the areas of Datacenter Infrastructure, Private/Hybrid Cloud, leading DB/Applications to respond to customer needs. Candidate must have the capability to build personal rapport with technical buyers and executives within customer organization. Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities and delivers high impact presentations and plan executive briefings, Tech days to win mindshare. Works closely with the Dell Partners and System Integrators. What you’ll achieve At this level, supports highly complex accounts Gains access and manages relationships with executive level technical staff and decision makers You will:

• May devise new approaches/methods to selling enterprise/client products and services; verifies operability of highly complex product and service configuration within the customer’s environment
• Prior experience to work with Public/Government Customers working in areas such as IT services, Research, Defense, HPC/AI/ML.
• Provides counsel across account team in analyzing customer requirements and performing advanced systems integration and providing technical expertise to design and implement solution using breadth of our products and services
• Senior level Sales/Systems engineer with good understanding of Private/Hybrid Cloud Solutions, leading Applications/Databases, Microservices based architecture, Data Protection etc.
• Possess excellent Communication skills

• More than 10 years of relevant experience in in the Industry; 2-3+ years of experience in Public Domain would be added benefit
• Exposure to Pre-sales
• Graduate or Post-Graduate
