Role Description – Summary:
To support Client on-boarding Specialist Team in Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai who manage and provide effective guidance to Front Office in their work processes and submissions, in terms of new client account opening and KYC reviews. The role requires the candidate to understand the various account structures of Wealth Management clients and conduct name screening in internal and external search engines and create account structures in the core banking systems.
In his/her function as a COBS Support the candidate is able to handle the daily BAU responsibilities on top of monitoring, tracking MI team performance and reporting on metrics.

Responsibilities/Tasks:
Support name screening tasks for the data provided by the COBS team in internal and external search engines
Review the search results and perform initial discounting
Print / PDF the results along with the discounting comments if applicable
Create account structure in Appway or AVQ for new client on-boarding based on the details provided via excel or documents
Review the documents in the shared folder and update roles / KYC information / account structure where required
Create roles / data input to complete the account structure
To upload documents / name screening results in Appway
Participate in UAT if required
To understand the Bank Global KYC/ AML Standards, Account Documentation procedures, Local Laws and Regulations and implement related control processes
Maintain the requests received in a systematic way for tracking and monitoring
Month end MI preparation
Any other adhoc tasks assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications:
Degree majoring in Banking, Accountancy or Business Administration or related discipline preferred
Knowledgeable and experienced in operations, account documentation, risk management, Sophisticated AML/KYC knowledge and experience in banking or financial industry for at least 1- 2 years
Ability to develop a good knowledge of the customer base, with sensitivity to specific customer needs.
