Job Purpose
- Inbound & Outbound clearance TAT to be achieved.
- Ensuring NO Detention/Demurrage due to internal failure in communication.
- Closure of disputed Invoices from LSP/Customers .
- Attend & lead structured reviews with top 10 customers .
- Motivating Team members to get maximum Productivity from them and supporting them to achieve the desired results.
- Ensuring Best Services to all Customers and achieve KPIs as laid down by Management from time to time.
Accountabilities
Supervise monitor and support team of 6-7 persons who will handle all below activities
- Monitor all physical handling activities at the port
- Ensure cargo is cleared on time and without penalty consistently
- Coordinate processing of shipments and handling of physical documents
- Coordination with customer for ocean Import & Export clearance
- Follow up with Shipping line/Forwarder /Brokers for clearance of the shipment
- Closure of post shipment issues ( E.g. EGM, MEIS, Shipping Transmission etc.)
- Coordination with customers for VAS activities
- Approvals to be taken for activity which are not in commercials agreed with Customers
- Update of Export clearance / VAS activities status to the Internal customers
- Daily status & MIS report to respective customers to be sent on a regular basis
