Designing robust automated test scripts to validate business and technical use cases. Maintaining, supporting and extending our existing automation framework and automation suite. Development of greenfield testing frameworks. Collaborating with Software Engineering Leaders, Project Managers, Product Managers, and others to ensure smooth integration of Quality Engineering solutions into the SDLC (Agile preferred) Participating in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution Understand test data needs and coordinate with up/downstream apps to seed them. Use of virtualization as needed to shift left. Test Environment set-up/management, monitoring and streamline release management to QA Environments. Communicate effectively and collaborate with globally distributed teams in an overlapped approach. Being proactive & driving tasks to closure sticking to the defined timelines. Minimum of 4 – 7 years of diverse experience in designing, developing and implementing Test automation solutions across a variety of platforms and applications. Proven expertise in automation tools – – Selenium using Java and ReadyAPI using Groovy scripting.. Experience in building automation framework from scratch to aid regression and other repeatable tests Exposure to CI/CD pipeline engineering and maintenance using tools like: GitLab CI, Jenkins, Maven etc. Exposure to test management tools such as ALM, Rally, Jira
