Local Unit & Position Description:
DNV is in the middle of an exciting digital transformation, as are the industries we operate in. Our Finance Application team is our key unit to further support our finance eco system based on Oracle eBusiness Suite, which also consists of a number of other closely integrated tools. A well-functioning and up-to-date finance system supporting our key processes end-to-end is a key engine to support our organizations commercial and financial commitments and assists to drive the transformation of the company. Our Oracle solution is integrated into many of our production systems and enables us as a company to have “one source of truth” for our financial data.
The Finance Applications Development and Support team focuses on delivering three main service areas; (1) Incident/defect resolution, (2) development of new requirements and (3) localisations/new operating units.
In your role, you will:
Be responsible for managing and maintaining the Global Template as well as Country Specific requirement related to Oracle Project Accounting (PA), Order Management (OM) module and the full end-to-end process according to agreed standards and best practise
Develop/maintain good knowledge of the DNV finance eco-system related to the PA/OM area and how this relates to Oracle Finance
Discuss, coordinate and align on solutions with Global process owners, PA/OM subject matter expert and solution architect
Develop and conduct reviews and QAs of training material, UFFAs, test scripts etc.
Provide investigation and resolution to incidents and defects related to the full end-to-end process, Oracle modules and connected systems to Oracle PA/OM, taking into account root cause resolution, scalability and future proofing
Establishing the solution/providing clarifications related to new functionality
Ensure that new requirements are developed, tested and implemented according to agreed standards and best practises
Work closely with the SME in the Finance Applications Services team to agree and release solutions and fixes into Production
Deliver communication to end-users/super users is fit-for-purpose in content, format and delivery channel and drive efficient methods (e.g. templates) that allow for standardisation
Foster an environment where quality is embedded in all working processes, with a key focus on quality analysis, design, development, and testing
Embed customer centricity in the services
Position Qualifications:
To maximise your chances, you need:
6+ years of Oracle EBS implementation experience is a must. Functional Experience with the following modules: Project Accounting (PA), Order Management (OM)
Hands on experience in full configuration/ setup, resolving issues and addressing root causes for Oracle finance modules PA and OM
Preferred experience on Oracle finance intercompany processes (PA/AGIS).
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting or Computer Science.
Customer focused and solution oriented
Proven track record of meeting timelines and deliverables to a high quality
Ability to identify, resolve, mitigate and escalate issues as they occur
Broad and in-depth knowledge of relevant end-to-end Finance processes and Oracle modules strongly preferred
Acknowledges and follows the procedures for developing and deploying solutions and fixes as well as proactively drive continuous improvement
Fluent in written and spoken English
