Eaton Corporation Hiring for Senior Engineer- Switchboard Custom Order Engineer at Hadapsar, India Full Time

What you’ll do:

• Understand customer requirements and prepare the GA drawings, Electrical Schematic, SLD, Electrical component selection and calculations, detailed BOM for given customer requirement in Bidman.

• Consult with Eaton sales, outside distributor and Electrical contractors to define order requirement and getting order clarification from these stakeholders.

• Act as order technical lead for sales and shop floor people to clarify order special requirements and assist shop floor during manufacturing of switchboards.

• Coordinate with other Eaton P&S satellite plants for co-ordination jobs, some time with PDCAD and other product lines from ES-Americas group.”

• Hands on design experience of LV electrical distribution equipment like MVS, PCC, MCC, Switchboard & Panelboards, PLC panels.

• Hands on experience in calculations and selections of different switchgear, Busbar sizing, Enclosure selection, protection relays, CT’s & PT’s.

• Develops a variety of complex drawings (Electrical +Mechanical) and bills-of-material based upon established product designs for switchboard product line.

• Hands on experience on various PLC Applications, I/O modules, Synchronization relays, contactors, Event recorders. Various control logics design, control power interlocking relays, control wiring details

• Hands on expurence in PLC programming and testing and developing ladder program based on I/O list.

• Consults with plant and field sales engineers in interpreting and defining special order requirements.

• Coordinates mechanical and electrical interfaces with other Eaton products.

• Selects engineering techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations.

• Possesses strong computer skills and proficiency with AutoCAD, EPLAN, Autodesk Inventor and other Engineering/Business software applications.

• Possesses excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Proven ability to mentor and coach other team members from team in Electrical specification interpretation and in developing special schematics.”
