This exciting role offers opportunity to: Responsible for controlling and coordinating all ME/facilities resource in the plant and ensuring all tasks are completed to support business needs. Directly supervises a team of Manufacturing Engineers with responsibility for generating and evaluating individual and team goals and development plans. Plans, coordinates, and directs activities of the Manufacturing Engineering team in relation to support of existing products and introduction of new products. Evaluates projects and actions to determine business benefits. Prioritizes and delegates daily work load for Manufacturing Engineering Team. Balances team’s short-term, long-term, and shop-support responsibilities. Interacts with Design Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure design for manufacturability of new products. Participates in design review process. Determines Cause and Corrective Actions to resolve issues involving discrepant product or material. Develops and maintains robust, cost efficient manufacturing processes and product structures consistent Subject-matter-expert for CARs and Industry 4.0 Ensures MCR/MCO process is followed to support plant QLI measure and ensure process changes are inline with Company procedure. Will act as the lead coordinator for Manufacturing Change Orders Leads cost out initiatives and new product design for assigned value stream(s) Maintains processes and methodologies for manufacturing operations. Assists in the composition of Capital Appropriation Requests (including payback and net present value analysis) for acquisition of equipment to support emerging and existing technologies as required. Assists leadership team and others in performing workload analysis and resources optimization. Extracts data from ERP systems as needed. Ensure PFMEA coverage across the plant and supports RPN reductions in line with Plant goals. Qualifications Requirement: B.E / B.Tech or higher in mechanical engineering 12 years or higher including atleast 5 years of Aerospace Mfg and 3 years of leadership experience Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, and structured problem solving (e.g. 8D, A3, etc.) required. Six Sigma experience is a plus.Enovia, Pro/E and Catia V5 preferred. Experience of deploying and implementing Industry 4.0 tools and technologies is a plus. Excellent communication skills.
