The primary responsibility is to ensure that key customer focused projects are completed and successfully launched in terms of budget, scope and resources.
Manage 4-5 VAVE projects at a time. Candidate must have background or experience in program management in automobile industry.
This includes driving of the projects from initializing- strategizing, planning – schedule, cost, budget analysis and budget keeping, resource management ; Execution – Conflict resolution, know how of the processes of core functions as production, marketing, engineering etc. ; Control Good communicator and listener, ability to manage a team and drive things, ensuring risks are well described, documented and resolution plan is laid out.
Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the timelines, budget & resource requirements.
Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
Managing and working with a team with a diverse array of talents, responsibilities and global locations.
Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services.
Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
Analyzing program risks and work along with the team to formulate the mitigation plan.
Communicates effectively to internal & external stakeholders
Qualifications
Requirement –
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
More than 8 years of experience.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Program Management
Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (SAPM or PMP) highly recommended.
High proficiency in planning & exceution of change management / product development cycle management, risk management, Cost/ budget management
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in team environment and independently.
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and an innovative mind set.
Strategic planning ability and strong organizational skills.
