Job Overview:
The Mechanical Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs focused on mechanical engineering principles, systems, and technologies. This role involves instructing students as well as faculties in both theoretical and practical aspects of mechanical engineering, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills to excel in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver training courses on mechanical engineering topics, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, mechanical systems, CAD modeling, and machinery maintenance.
• Conduct both classroom-based and hands-on training sessions, integrating practical demonstrations and real-world applications.
• Create and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and exercises, to ensure content is relevant and up-to-date.
• Stay current with new industry trends, technologies, and methodologies to ensure training programs reflect the latest developments in mechanical engineering.
• Practical exercises to provide trainees with real-world exposure to mechanical systems and equipment.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering, including hands-on work with mechanical systems, machinery, and design tools.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Prior experience in teaching, training, or mentoring is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, tools, and software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB).
Skills:
• Expertise in mechanical engineering concepts and practices.
• Proficiency in using mechanical design and simulation software.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of trainees and promote a collaborative learning environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles.
