Role : WebSphere Admin

IBM WAS (Administration) WAS in combination with the related

IBM suite of products and tools (IBM-MQ, IBM MQ-FTE, IBM ACE/IIB/ESB, IBM Extreme Scale Cache, IBM WSRR, IBM DataPower appliances etc.)

Primary responsibility will be to upgrade the current WAS platform to RHEL 9.x using latest WAS version

Required Technical Skill Set :

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have :

Hands-on experience in effective administration, maintenance and monitoring of IBM WebSphere application server 8.x/8.5.x/9.x, WAS-Liberty versions & related Container/Container-Orchestration technologies.

Good-to-Have :

Expertise in administering IBM WAS in combination with the related IBM suite of products and tools (IBM-MQ, IBM MQ-FTE, IBM ACE/IIB/ESB, IBM Extreme Scale Cache, IBM WSRR, IBM DataPower appliances etc.)

Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

WAS Admin #

1. primary responsibility will be to upgrade the current WAS platform to RHEL 9.x using latest WAS version

Proven IBM WAS Administration skills and Engineering Support – to perform WAS Release upgrades/patching and applying Fix packs/Refresh packs, needed JAVA upgrades etc.

Comfortable working with “IBM WAS network deployments” on multiple servers and administering them.

Able to automate WAS server management and configuration management tasks

Deploy new message flows, build MQ queues/topics and channels.

Manage TLS/SSL digital certificates and related digital keys – for securing the WAS deployments

Proven hands-on experience in effective administration, maintenance and monitoring of IBM WebSphere application server 8.x/8.5.x/9.x, WAS-Liberty versions & related Container/Container-Orchestration technologies.

Expertise in administering IBM WAS in combination with the related IBM suite of products and tools (IBM-MQ, IBM MQ-FTE, IBM ACE/IIB/ESB, IBM Extreme Scale Cache, IBM WSRR, IBM DataPower appliances etc

Experience in migration of large scale Java applications from AIX to Linux platform

Experience in installation and configuration of WebSphere application server 9.x version

WAS fix pack installation and configuration

Experience working with setting up JDBC and JMS configurations

Experience with deploying Java J2EE application on WAS servers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 – ₹450,000.00 per year
