Role

Within an international environment, we are looking for an experienced backend engineer to help the current team to architect and deliver new projects. The new consultant will be integrated into a multidisciplinary group with backend developers, frontend developers, mobile developers, and systems engineers to deliver projects with cutting-edge technologies.
This role is open to candidate working remotely from the GMT/CET time zone. Responsibilities:

• Design and implement reliable, high-performance systems to meet customer-facing and internal product needs
• Build and maintain secure cloud infrastructure solutions for high availability and ease-of-use
• Develop RESTful APIs with Django Rest Framework
• Architect new services using the latest technologies
• Designing and implementation of the infrastructure for new projects
• Integration with third-party APIs
• Deploy new services in AWS
• CI/CD design and implementation
• Provide feedback and mentorship to other engineers through code review, working sessions, design reviews, and other means

What we are looking for :

• Master’s university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology
• 5+ years of working experience on development and systems administration
• Strong knowledge of at least one backend programming language, preferably Python or Django
• Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience creating Docker images to deploy software
• Extensive experience with at least one major cloud infrastructures provider such as AWS or Linux
• Experience deploying and managing web applications on AWS from the Frontend to the Backend
• Understanding of modern web application technologies like containers, such as Docker or Kubernetes
• AI/ML knowledge is a plus
• DevOps, JIRA and GitHub experience is a plus
• Azure or AWS certifications linked to Infrastructure, Development, or Data management is a plus
• Fluent in English. Spanish is a plus
