Job SummaryElevate Social Media is looking for Video Editor who can create visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform or captivate consumers. The one who can develop the overall layout and production design for video adverts, campaigns and social media.Responsibilities and Duties

• Working creatively to produce original and aesthetically pleasing designs and solutions
• Ability to tell a story through short and impactful videos (editing of existing footage and creating new vector based videos/animations)
• Keep abreast of the latest trends in terms of video content and design on social media
• Ability to sort through music that supports the story
• Create images and videos that identify a product or convey a message
• Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites
• Select colours, images, text style and layout
• Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
• Develops engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts, which enlighten audiences and promote brand-focused messages
• A thinker to ensure s/he adds value to our company

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum work experience in a relevant role (animator/video editor) of 2 years.
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor/animator
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
• Knowledge of special effects, 3D and compositing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Adobe creative suite – After Effects, Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Knowledge of Corel Draw will be a plus
