Embraer Looking For Vice President, Institutional Relations, India at Delhi, Full Time

Embraer Asia Pacific is seeking to recruit a Vice President, Institutional Relations specifically for India.

Reporting to the Global Vice President, Institutional Relations, you will lead and be responsible for all institutional relations activities and to implement Embraer institutional relations engagement strategies in India.

Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and drive strategies to engage government authorities and promote Embraer opportunities in government relations in India.
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with local Brazilian embassy to leverage on government activities to support business development and promote Embraer’s agenda.
• Partner with business units to develop strategies to support customers engagement and sales campaigns.
• Provide timely intelligence and advice to business units and corporate offices on political, economic, commercial, social developments in India.
• Serve as the internal expert advisor for government relations policy and regulations in India.
• Participate in trade shows, attend meetings with local government officials and respective country diplomats and embassies worldwide.
• Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in procurement activities.

This position will be based in India – Delhi and requires travelling.

We are seeking to hire a professional with a Degree in international relations, public policy, political science, aviation, engineering or equivalent with at least 7 years of experience in government relations, international relations, public policy or a related field.

Requirements:

• Has a deep understanding of the political, economic, commercial and social landscape in the Asia Pacific region, with a particular focus on India.
• Proficient in building good relationships with government and industry stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build and develop good relationships with government and industry stakeholders
• Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across a matrix organization and with senior executives
• Able to partner and influence stakeholders
• Strong sense of professional ethics and integrity
• Both a leader and a team player
• Proficient in English and Hindi
• Mastery in Portuguese is an added advantage for daily communication with headquarter office in Brazil and relationship building with Brazilian embassy
• Good in MS Office
