Emerson Looking For Assistant Manager / Manager – EHS at Pune, Maharashtra, Full Time

Key Responsibilities for this position

Carry out necessary inspections, audits, investigation and advise on Workplace Safety & Health programs including – Medical checkups, Lift Inspection, CCOE(PESO), e waste

Lead the formation and administration of Company Emergency Response Team (CERT), Company First Aider Team and Fire Warden Team.

Audits company statutory equipment regularly to ensure that they are registered, in good working condition and equipped with safety protection. Monitor air, water and noise emissions regularly as well as workplace hygiene practices.

Investigate accidents and incidents to facilitate preventive and remedial measures.

Implement Safety Work Permit system at the larger sites. Implement Tag/lock out systems where appropriate.

Safety metrics (TRR, First Aid, # of Hazards/ BBS) for ACT, Site (and One India as may be suggested by EHS lead India)

ENHESA and Final Control System audit for ACT since this is mainly related to legal requirements

Be a senior member of the safety committee – provide input to the monthly meetings and gather safety information from out satellite offices on a regular basis.

OHC management (facilities and consumables/ staff/ ambulance/ billing)

Statutory reporting to Government Authorities under different applicable acts -Factories Act and all other EHS legal compliance for site

Desired Educational Qualification

Graduate _ ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety – full time from a Govt. approved Instt. )

Technical Skills / Knowledge Required

Hands on knowledge of various Rules under Factory Act for implementing safety at site

Knowledge on Fire prevention, first aid etc.

EHS Audit Skill

Risk Assessment like HAZOP, JSA, etc. Occupational work place Health Risk assessment
