We are excited to be expanding in Mumbai India in the world-renowned Center of Excellence. We are currently recruiting for a full-time onsite System Administration Support that will support the US.
The successful candidate will be reliable, contentious, with a strong work ethic. They will have the values of being highly trustworthy and discreet with an effective communication manner when dealing with end users. Experience supporting senior leaders and all levels of general staff is key to this role. They will be a critical thinker who is proactive and is solution focused.
The System Administration support will take on the following responsibilities:
· Ensuring the integrity of data storage and backup systems
· Maintaining the internet connection and firewall and monitoring security tools
· Managing the configuration of operating systems
· Responding immediately to security or usability concerns
· Anticipating potential problems and taking action to solve them before they impact users when possible
· Testing software and reviewing application logs
· Adding, removing or updating user information such as logins and passwords
· Documenting the network’s configuration
Desired Qualifications Include:
· Must have a bachelor’s degree
· Microsoft Office 365 – Administrative Level
· User & Group Administration – Create and Manage
· Exchange Online
· Sharepoint Online
· Teams
· Nice to Have: Licensing & Billing Administration
· Azure
· Azure Active Directory (AAD), including Guest Accounts
· AAD – Multi-tenant requirements for authorization
· Virtual Machines
· Storage and Vault ice to Have: Licensing & Billing Administration
· Rackspace Apps (Consultant e-mail, very easy to learn)
· End-User Desktop Support
· Windows 10 & 11 and MacOS 12 & 13
· Experience in remote support, preferably but not required with AnyDesk
· Linux, specifically Ubuntu
· iPhone
· Network & Security
· Meraki (L2 switches and wireless APs)
· Firewall & VPN, specifically MX-84 or MX-96
· GoDaddy DNS
· Note: All network is nice to have, I manage this myself but can always use help!
· Apps, Automation & Scripting
· PowerShell
· Linux bash (most of AJ’s Robot automations are in this)
· Python
· Wordpress
· Squarespace
What you will be doing:
· Install and configure software and hardware
· Manage network servers and technology tools
· Set up accounts and workstations
· Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
· Troubleshoot issues and outages
· Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
· Upgrade systems with new releases and models
· Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
· Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
