You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of our backend systems with our front-end applications.Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems to support our RESTful services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in Python.
- Have a knowlege of Fast API.
- Implement and optimize database structures to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Ensure the security and integrity of backend systems by implementing best practices for data protection and user authentication.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and scale backend services in cloud environments.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Optimize backend code for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure alignment with coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest backend development trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer with a strong focus on Python.
- Proficiency in designing, building, and integrating RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with backend frameworks and libraries such as SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, FastAPI, and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
- Solid understanding of database design and optimization, with experience using both relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS; experience in ECS, RDS, Lambda, SAM is a plus.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
