Epiroc Mining India Ltd Hiring for Senior / Lead Engineer at Nashik, Maharashtra Full Time

Job description:
Support the culture within the engineering department to facilitate our actions to increase customer satisfaction.

Attend in PSD development projects as an engineer or project leader.

Development of the engineering department and belonging processes.

Coordinate CMTEC India with working tasks, support, and follow-ups.

Approve CN´s that are related to articles that PSD is responsible for.

Identify and compile information on new components from sub suppliers and decide which items require further breakdown into their constituent spare parts. Input is received through CNs, Projects, D&D, Service and Technical documentation.

Work together with suppliers regarding spare parts levels and creation of kits. Use input from supplier, R&D, service, and marketing to determine which parts to supply.

Perform different engineering tasks.

Support the Marketing team with designs and bill of materials in Teamcenter and technical expertise when creating spare parts and kits.

Support our product managers with development of customized components and product upgrades.

Support Technical Documentation with engineering input in their work to create instructions and manuals.

Support Technical Service with engineering expertise and development of service tools, products.

Support strategic purchasing with technical knowledge, parts replacement, and supplier evaluation.

Evaluate alternate material for BCC projects and offer technical support

Mission:
As a PSD Engineering team member your objective is to work with Engineering and PSD related products and projects. You will work in the engineering department in the PSD division and shall together with your colleagues create a dynamic and flexible team. Our mission is to deliver aftermarket products and to support other departments within PSD with technical knowledge

Experience requirements:
At least 7-8 years of relevant experience from product development

experience and technical knowledge in the different Mining products applications

Knowledge requirements:
Good understanding for mechanical and Hydraulics sub systems for Mining products

Ability to compare and finalize alternate Material grade considering applications

Hands on with ERP -M3, Creo and Teamcenter PLM

Educational requirements:
BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma with 10 years of relevant experience

Personality requirements:
Energetic, positive, open minded, team player, willing to learn and approachable

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to coordinate different stakeholders.

Travel to customer site as and when required.
