Your key responsibilitiesUnderstanding business objectives and developing application architecture to achieve service agreement such as:
o Maximum response time
o Availability
o Quality/Confidence of prediction
o Max re-train time, etc
Should be well aware and experienced in architecture of Machine Learning (ML) applications such as:
o Recommendation system
o NLP based application
o Regression applications
Should have worked on building web/mobile/desktop applications
Managing available resources such as hardware, data, and personnel so that deadlines are met
Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability
Exploring and visualizing data to gain an understanding of it, then identifying differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world
Verifying data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning
Supervising the data acquisition process if more data is needed
Defining validation strategies
Defining the pre-processing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset
Defining data augmentation pipelines
Training models and tuning their hyper-parameters
Analysing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them
Training other team membersSkills and attributes for successProficiency with web-frameworks for deployment of ML solutions as On-demand web-service accessible via REST api.
Proficiency with a deep learning framework such as TensorFlow or Keras
Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas
Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets
Proficiency with OpenCV
Ability to select hardware to run an ML model with the required latency
Understanding of complete application architecture
Experience of working with Relational and non-relational databasesTo qualify for the role you must haveB.Tech. preferably in Computer Science
5-10 years of overall work experience
2-5 years of relevant experience
