The Opportunity:
We are looking for a demonstrated leader with a history of consultative delivery and sales acumen in the Government arenas.
This individual will lead the efforts to gain new contracts through developing an aggressive approach to the RFP/RFQ submissions process.
It’s a limitless opportunity for a well-rounded, personal aggressive individual that owns this space!
Qualified candidates have exceptional communication experience directly with Managers, Program Managers, Program Directors, CTOs, and CIOs in the government space and knowing how to navigate the RFP/RFQ submission process.
This precise individual will be tasked with identifying, negotiating and winning business within the US Government.
Primary focus will remain on identifying and develop new business inside the Government arena and work with the Director of Business Development to get a better foothold on unsaturated areas of the past/current/future business.
Experience/ Skills:
DOD and Federal Government sales experience.
Knowledge using Sam.gov or portals that aggregate RFP’s through government site.
Be an expert inside all accounts – who they are, what they do, what are their goals, what are their priorities, how do they buy from us, and most importantly how to extend our offering internally.
Prospect new government customers, grow and maintain existing Government Accounts.
Ability to develop, execute and coordinate a successful sales strategy to achieve expected business results.
Must have ability to write and create the responses for all RFP’s.
Manage the full lifecycle of the bids, proposals and RFP process.
