Senior Manager, Salesforce Administrator
An established people leader who leads a larger team of Salesforce Administrators. Delivers work for defined domains and expands scope and feature sets for those areas. Collaborates with management and product to balance the needs of the teams’ wellbeing, features, system maintenance and operation.
What you’ll do:
Recognizes and stays apprised of emerging technology trends and best practices that could potentially benefit the organization
Extends outside of direct organization and collaborates with peers across the organization
Partners with the business to have a clear understanding of how the technology stack is tied to business outcomes and the bottom line
Recognizes staff potential and guides employees in developing skills by recommending appropriate training and sources of information
Creates environment for team effectiveness, where strengths are known and built upon and learning is shared to build capacity
Shares domain and industry knowledge between cross-functional teams
Seeks mentorship opportunities for direct reports
Obtains resources needed to reach individual and team goals
Prioritizes team morale and productivity, celebrating team accomplishments
Promotes collaboration among team members
Encourages others to cooperate and coordinate efforts
Attracts and selects diverse and high-caliber talent
Develops product phase-out planning in line with the product roadmap
Determines different phase milestones and priorities in collaboration with product management peers
Who you are:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
3-5 years of related professional experience
Recruits at least 5 Salesforce Administrators to own team
Performance manages at least 3 individual contributors
Executes capacity planning/allocation of +10 team size
Manages individuals in different locations
Is strong in Salesforce and agile scrum methodologies
Justifies technology choices to technical and non-technical observers
Responsible for multiple technical domains
Makes well defined technology choices
Mentors team members
Works with multiple teams
Rewards and recognizes multiple teams
Mentors individual contributors as well as managers on team
Defines team goals and how they fit a business need across multiple teams working together
Delivers solutions to business problems spanning teams
Delivers and influences the product roadmap, working in collaboration with product team
Successfully conducts day-to-day work and solves complex issues in own specific technical engineering area
Serves as a guide to others by sharing and helping junior associates in their duties
Facilitates collaboration with different stakeholders with varied perspectives to develop effective solutions to issues
Strives for optimum organizational efficiency by applying systems thinking across boundaries and making recommendations about policies/ processes
Takes a whole systems approach to analyze issues and implements holistic solutions by ensuring that linkages between structure, people, process and technology are made
Breaks down complex information (e.g., legal, operational risk, and regulatory data) into understandable terminology and actionable concepts
Uses technical knowledge and expertise to generate comprehendible, broadly-applicable communications based on new and non-typical data
Designs differentiated technical communications (content focus, style, presentation, etc.) for various internal and external audiences based on an understanding of their differing levels of familiarity with technical language
Reviews the skill and expertise requirements to accomplish team goals and identifies staffing and talent resources to fill project roles
Develops action plans for optimal resource utilization and manages financial/material resource usage among team
Encourages others to assess the potential impact of resource decisions related to efficiency and cost reduction
Establishes working relationships with stakeholders and builds rapport to become a trusted advisor
Identifies strategic issues and raises questions to help customers explore and understand their wider business challenges
Utilizes thorough understanding of current business processes and challenges to recommend and match solutions to meet unique business needs and achieve objectives
