The Role

The analyst performs analyses of large datasets, mainly consisting of survey data related to the effectiveness of learning offers, to better understand trends, relationships between variables, and develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards. They play a key role in formulating people insights reports for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilizes core Explorance technology platforms and/or industry standard business intelligence platforms for analysis on projects.

• Collaborates with the consulting team to understand analytics needs and conduct analytics projects.

• Cleans and restructure datasets (e.g., Likert scales).

• Analyzes data to discover patterns/trends and create relevant charts and graphs. Provides insights and recommendations for improvement based on data.

• Utilizes Tableau to calculate metrics, create visualizations, and find the story in the data.

• Utilizes data visualization best practices.

• Creates client presentations in PowerPoint.

Key Skills Needed for Success

• 3-5 years of experience with data analysis and visualization (preferably with survey and/or learning effectiveness data).

• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, PowerQuery; VBA not required)

• Proficiency with Tableau.

• Basic knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics.

• Excellent, effective oral and written communication skills to various levels of audiences in a global environment.

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively both individually and in a team environment with time, task management and prioritization skills (experience working remotely with a globally dispersed team a plus).

• Ability to work altered schedule to meet North America meeting requirements.

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict client deadlines.

Education & Language Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Fluency in English

• Fluency in French a plus
