EY Global Delivery Services (GDS)

Global Delivery Services (GDS) is a global priority for the firm. GDS is an important component of EY’s Nextwave strategy and has an ever-increasing shared services footprint across the world, including multiple centers in India (Bangalore, Chennai, Gurgaon, Noida, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kochi and Trivandrum), and in Mexico, Spain, Srilanka, Argentina, China, Poland and the Philippines.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Demonstrate strong sustainability acumen to establish credibility with Area / Region leaders and sponsors as the ESG solution champion.
• Competency expertise in decarbonization, ESG Standards, ESG solutions, technology related to ESG solutions to deliver promised value proposition for the clients
• Establish, strengthen, and scale the GDS ESG practice to achieve 30% integration in the next 12-18 months working with the regional leaders
• Demonstrate ability to attract and build a strong team of ESG professionals with external talent infusion, and strengthen inhouse capabilities
• Design and execute the blueprint of global ESG solutions and help Regions in taking these to market.
• Demonstrate thought leadership by infusing new ideas and assets to improve the GDS brand in the ESG community across various sectors and accounts
• Deliver growth of the practice across Client Value, People Value, Societal Value and Financial Value

Other elements that the role is expected to influence include the following.

• Identify program and team capabilities, address challenges to growth, and demonstrate the ability to plan and mitigate these effectively
• Consistently embed quality processes and automation into the ESG methodologies/delivery processes for large transformation programs.
• Manage, collaborate and team effectively with region stakeholders Delivery quality and industrialization agenda
• Manage large and distributed teams across the globe to successfully deliver on programs.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

• Global sustainability experience
• Candidate needs to have stakeholder relationship/management expertise
• Sector focus on different sectors is a plus
• A thought leader/competency leader of sustainability practice who can identify market trends Ideally, with technology background on ESG Solutions
