Full Job Description
Roles & Responsibility
Collaborate with the executive management team to analyze department finances and develop budgets that will keep the company’s costs down
Perform a variety of advanced financial analysis to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company
Keep the founders abreast of matters affecting the financial status of the company
Oversee Statutory, Financial, General and annual audit, financial reporting and planning process and develop accounting policies.
Analyze, prepare and review budgets, revenue and expenditures for local, state, private funding, contracts and grants
Manage and ensure Statutory compliances (licenses, PF, ESI etc.) and Tax Returns compliance (ITR, GST, TDS, TCS, Property, etc.) are met and related company documents and processes are up to date
Handle Export-Import documents and filing of BOE, GST and statutory filings; preparing NPA and Working Capital Management
Oversee Stock and Inventory management, Investors Reporting and query management and Banking & Treasury operations
Prepare, review, reconcile payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents and issue bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures
Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables and resolve accounting discrepancies
Prepare final accounts, GL Accounting, Stock Statement, Direct & Indirect Taxation, Balance sheet finalization, Finance, Cash flow statement, Cash & Bank Reconciliation, monthly MIS sheet etc.
Maintain relation with Investors and provide updates on monthly MIS & other compliance support
Administrative tasks:
Inventory management including management of Office Assets
Official Travel plans & arrangements and budgeting
Provide assistance in tendering
ESOP portal management
System Admin for IT, Social media, Emails, Cloud etc.and subscription Management
Transit documentations for business operations
Skills Required:
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications like Tally
GST, Statutory and other tax compliance awareness
Strong problem solving, decision making, critical thinking skills
Ability to plan and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines
Good with ms office, excel, google sheets
Added advantage:
Experience with a start-up / manufacturing firm
