Position Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to develop & operationalize plans to support the Commercial Models team with New Product Introduction in a way that is compliant, cost effective and improve existing time to market. The role has a significant impact in driving business growth & profitability by providing world class operational support and reducing the time to Market for new Product Launch. The business systems analyst will be part of Idea to Market Value Stream and help us streamline the Commercial Models functionality. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to support and execute complex cross-functional initiatives in the midst of competing priorities.
Primary Responsibilities
Go-To-Market experience for New Product Introduction
Proactively identify process improvements, system enhancements, to support New Product Introduction
Work with Product development teams to gather requirements and provide feedback on SKU design feasibility and constraints.
Maintain business rules for end-to-end SKU flow.
Provide cross-functional subject matter expertise on SKU design to various business units
Design reliable and scalable technical solutions that meet business requirements and acceptance criteria and present technical solutions to the review board in the format of proof-of-concept (POC) or flow diagrams.
Design and develop next generation automation for existing manual process, allowing Idea to Market team to scale at the pace required to support the business.
Partner with enterprise architects and solution architects to design technical solutions that meet F5’s service level standard and security requirements.
Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies.
Qualifications
BS degree in computer science, technology, engineering or similar field
7 or more years of working experience in a business systems analyst, software Engineering or in an equivalent position
2 or more years of experience in building and implementing PLM (Product LifeCycle Management) Systems
2 or more years of working experience required in the Order-to-Cash area
Previous experience creating/maintaining Items or SKU’s or Bills of Material
Specific expertise in functional areas such as Quoting, Subscription Management, Contracting, Amendments, Renewals is a strong plus
Experience with API, XML & JSON Messaging formats
Strong analytical and organization skills with advanced level expertise of Excel, PowerBI and SQL
Experience with Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Kanban, scrum
Experience working with technical and business stakeholders from global cross-functional teams.
Experience multiple software development methodologies/lifecycles required
Experience modeling as-is and to-be process flows
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table
Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material
Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)
Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 5% of the time of less spent traveling
Job may be performed on-site at a customer facility or data center, or in an office environment sitting at a desk or computer table
