Job Title: Jewellery Merchandiser

Educational Qualification: B.F Tech / M.F Tech / Bachelor’s in Accessory Design / Masters in Accessory design

Experience: 4+ years of work experience in Retail industry from Jewellery background

• Eye for product & aesthetics
• Ambition to make Fabindia ‘go to destination’ for product categories
• Understanding of traditional silver jewellery

Job Responsibility:

• Jewellery range planning and buying by identifying existing and new business opportunities
• Develop and implement the annual calendar for design, range launches, promotions, stock rationalization and discount
• Ensure timely approvals & placement of orders to ensure timely deliveries
• Drive the pricing, marketing and promotions of the category’s products in order to make them as visible, accessible, and appealing to customers
• Innovate for targeting new customer segment, increasing sales and rationalizing costs
• Create and maintain workflows, WIP, Time and Action plan for the category
• Provide communication briefs addressing category requirement
• Maintain costing sheets
• Source, develop and maintain a productive relationship with vendors that is mutually beneficial to the company and artisans

PS: Jewellery category experience is must
