KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Range Development & Presentation

Work on new product development for new Business based on design brief, option plan , range plan

Coordination with Fabric PH and weaver for arranging sampling yardages

Maintain the right mix of silhouettes, fabrics, cuts, sleeves, necklines etc. in samples based on the buy plan

Trend Analysis – Regular Market & Competitor analysis to ensure ranges & pricing is in keeping with the market trends

Style wise modifications/comments to be shared with PH/Producer on shortlisted and rejected samples within a week of receipt/review of range

Maintaining sampling tracker and updating it real-time

Work on new product development for Occasion Wear based on design brief, option plan , range plan

Range Review/Presentation:

Ensure receipt of all samples with correct trims as per agreed timelines

Timely colourway closures

Prepare for internal range presentations up to the MRH & consolidate feedback on the range

Photoshoot and cataloguing of new range

Preparing range review/feedback sheets

Create & present a range as per the option plan & price mix

Production

Creation of codes

Conduct fabric review meeting with fabric team prior to handover the range to production team.

Handing over final selected range to production team along with- samples/colorways/initial costing/trim & fabric details

Maintaining craft tracker and Range catalogue

Documentation:

Maintain samples & Document Design Projects of interns & consultant designers

JOB SPECIFICATION: (QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE)

Years of Functional Experience: 1-4 years of work experience in Merchandising, Sampling, Product development or fresh graduates can also apply

Degree/Diploma: BF tech / MF tech / BE Textiles / BSc Home Science
