Job Description:
Creation of 3D models from 2D drawings given by customers
Performing analysis (computer simulation) for improving designs and increasing reliability
Preparation of reports for customers on the performed analysis
Explaining and discussing with vendors and customers about the design/analysis.
Corresponding with customers regarding all necessary input and output data.
Preparation of training material based on knowledge acquired for simulation.
Candidate Requirement
Engineer should show high levels of interest in pursuing a career in mechanical engineering design, with special emphasis on Computer Simulation for solving engineering problems.
Track record of good academic performance in the past is a plus point.
Good understanding of engineering drawings (views in 3 directions) of sheet metal and structural work is a must.
Strong understanding of basics of Strength of Materials, Heat and Mass Transfer, Fluid Dynamics.
ANSYS and CFX are the main software packages that the candidate should be conversant with.
Solid works will be used and knowledge of Solid works sheet metal, structural and 2d drawings is an added plus point..
