FICCI Looking For Senior Assistant Director / Deputy Director / Joint Director – WTO, FTA and Foreign Trade at New Delhi, Delhi, Full Time

We are looking for:

• Post-Graduation Degree in Economics with specialization from in International Trade from a reputed university
• 7- 18 years of relevant experience.
• Candidates working with trade policy, economic research institutes, research divisions of chambers/ association/ consulting firms, think tanks, policy advocacy groups (preferred)

Competencies:

• Knowledge of national and international economic developments
• Liaise with industry and government in putting forth recommendations for making better policies
• Conducting stakeholder consultations and Industry meetings to deliberate on policies and regulations
• Identifying issues and advocate to build representations in consensus with industry members
• Prepare recommendations and putting forth to the governments
• Able to write reports & presentations

Principal Accountabilities:

Research (Primary and Secondary):

• Ability to collect primary data, analyse secondary data. Develop reports, representations, and knowledge outputs

Policy Advocacy:

• Develop policy briefs based on research and interaction with members
• Making representations to the governments
• Regular interaction with Committee members

Organizing Conferences/ Outreach:

• Develop and organize workshops and other outreach programmes
• Developing concept notes / backgrounders
