Job Title: Senior Accountant – Financial Reporting & Core Accounting (Night Shift)

Location: JP Nagar, Bangalore (On-site)

Shift Timings: 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM IST (Night Shift)

Eligibility: Male candidates only

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong foundation in core accounting functions and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise across the entire AP and AR cycles, possess strong technical knowledge in accounting standards, and have a track record of planning and implementing process improvements. The role demands leadership, a deep understanding of R2R processes, and the ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and reporting activities.
• Perform bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Execute two-way and three-way matching processes and oversee the entire AP and AR cycles.
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of accruals, month-end journals, and year-end journals.
• Review general ledger activities for correct classification and completeness.
• Conduct fluctuation analysis of P&L and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements, ensuring elimination of intercompany transactions.
• Handle vendor payments, payment review, and related reconciliations.
• Provide financial reporting inputs for internal and external audits and liaise with auditors.
• Stay up-to-date on new accounting pronouncements and support implementation efforts.
• Work extensively with Zoho Books and Advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, etc.).
• Provide budgetary recommendations and financial plans aligned with market changes and compliance standards.
• Support internal process improvements and automation initiatives related to core accounting.

Key Requirements:

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end core accounting, including bookkeeping, AP/AR cycles, and reconciliations.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or CMA are mandatory.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, auditing, and R2R processes.
• High proficiency in Advanced Excel and experience with Zoho Books is essential.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in night shift with high ownership and accountability.
• Must be able to relocate near JP Nagar, Bangalore, and travel by own transport.
