Finova Quadcopter Pvt Ltd Hiring for FEA Analysis Engineer at Chennai, Tamil Nadu Full Time

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FEA Analysis Engineer to join our team. As an FEA Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting structural analysis using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques. This role requires in-depth knowledge of stress, strain, and fatigue analysis, as well as expertise in utilizing software tools such as SolidWorks and Abaqus/Ansys or any other Open Source FEA Software for FEA simulations and topology optimization. Additionally, experience and understanding of manufacturing processes and practices are essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis using FEA techniques to assess the behavior, performance, and safety of automobile vehicle wheels, bearings, and other components.
• Conduct stress analysis to evaluate the structural integrity and strength of wheels, bearings, and related components under various loading conditions, including static loads, dynamic loads, and impact loads.
• Perform strain analysis to assess deformation and identify potential failure points in automotive structures.
• Conduct fatigue analysis to predict the fatigue life of wheels, bearings, and other components and determine their reliability under cyclic loading.
• Utilize software tools such as SolidWorks and Abaqus to create finite element models, define boundary conditions, and perform FEA simulations for automotive components.
• Conduct topology optimization studies to optimize the design of automotive structures for improved performance, weight reduction, and durability.
• Analyze FEA results and generate comprehensive reports, providing insights and recommendations to support design improvements and decision-making processes for automotive components.
• Collaborate with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to incorporate FEA analysis results into the product development process for automotive applications.
• Apply knowledge of automotive components, including wheels, bearings, and related systems, to ensure the feasibility and practicality of design solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in FEA analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies in the automotive industry and proactively apply them to enhance analysis capabilities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of best practices, standards, and procedures related to FEA analysis for automotive components.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on FEA analysis methodologies, software tools, result interpretation, and automotive component considerations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 1 Year of Experience in the related project. Having more than 1 year experience is preferable.
• Part time and work from home available. But Min 8 hours must work from office.
• Strong knowledge of stress analysis, strain analysis, and fatigue analysis principles for automotive components.
• Proficiency in utilizing FEA software tools such as SolidWorks Simulation, Abaqus or Ansys or any other Open Source FEA Software
• Experience in conducting topology optimization studies to improve structural performance and weight reduction for automotive components.
• Solid understanding of mechanical behavior, material properties, and failure mechanisms specific to automobile vehicle wheels, bearings, and related components.
• Familiarity with automotive components, including wheel systems, bearings, and related systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate analysis results effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Continuous learning mindset and a proactive approach to stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in FEA analysis for automotive components.
