Job Description:
1. Work with vendors to identify merchandise that will be interesting to the FirstCry customer base.
2. Planning season requirement for the entire category.
3. Identifying mid-season inventory gaps and taking quick action on them.
4. Develop merchandising strategy with marketing for new season, festival or any carnival promotions.
5. To decide as to which product to be introduced and removed.
6. Pricing the product.
7. Market research and keeping abreast with market trends.
8. Negotiate with vendors for effective pricing.
9. Range planning and budget allocation.
10. Travel to vendors for price negotiations and bookings.
