About the team

This role is a part of our Remote Infrastructure Management Team. Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application.

What you will be doing

Handle day-to-day UNIX/AIX operating system tasks and break-fix support

Configuration and troubleshooting of AIX Operating system

VCS Clustering and High availability management

Designing, troubleshooting and storage Migrations

Systems running on Linux / AIX platforms and OS clustering, partitioning and virtualization

Proven knowledge of the fundamental concepts and technologies associated with AIX Operating Systems (Hardware, Software).

Ability to perform installation, implementation, customization, operation, recovery and performance tuning.

Expertise in OS backups

Implement changes, perform security related tasks, identify and recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures

Proficient in patching level issues, support required for any issues during the patching

Willingness to work in nights shifts or support 24 x 7 Coverage as per the Business needs

Following Standard Operating Procedures for BAU support, Build, configure and maintain all applicable Servers

Recognizing and articulating job related problems to management.
